LOCAL GIFT DRIVE BRINGS HOPE ONCE again the local community got behind the Parklea Gift Drive initiative, donating hundreds of Christmas presents, and bringing joy to so many disadvantaged children in our local community. Throughout December, locals generously placed a variety of gifts and toys under Christmas trees at Arena Shopping Centre and Timbertop estate sales suite. The 2017 gift drive was the most successful to date, as Arena Shopping Centre’s large donation boxes were consistently refilled with an abundance of gifts and toys. “The Parklea Gift Drive is a representation of community spirit and demonstrates the kindness and humanity evident within our Cardinia and Officer community.
