PEAKE OF THEIR POWERS PEAKE Real Estate’s property management team was crowned the Property Management Team of the Year at the recent ARERA awards. The 12th annual Australasian Real Estate Results Awards was held at the Melbourne Town hall in February. Peake was a finalist in eight categories, taking out the Property Management award. The property management team, consisting of Lisa Hearn, Kim Williams, Cindy Huntington and Hannah Adams, is overseen by director Marisa Adams. “Our team of very experienced, mature ladies can offer all our clients a personalised service which we believe is second to none,” Ms Adams said. “Our team is highly trained to deal with all aspects of property management and ensure that our clients receive maximum return on investment. Your property portfolio is too important to leave it in the hands of an inexperienced property manager with little or no understanding of what it means to manage investment properties.” The newest member of the team, Kim Williams, also spoke at the two day conference held in conjunction with the awards. Ms Adams said the Peake team reflected the theme of this year’s awards - client experience and service. “I guess we showed in our submission that we have very good retention rates because of our personalised service. “Because our team manages a portfolio of smaller numbers they can
give that kind of personalised service.” Ms Adams summed up the team’s mood on the night as “ecstatic”. “ We celebrated big time,” she said, laughing. “It’s a great award for girls to be recognised in this way. There are lots of awards out there for sales staff, but property managers are often the hard workers who are forgotten in the background, so this was a great win for that reason.
“Property managers all over the place deserve a pat on the back for the massive amount of work they do.” The Real Estate Results Network, of which Peake Real Estate is a member, is headed by CEO and founder Michael Sheargold. He works with leading real estate agencies throughout Australia and New Zealand to maximise their competitive advantage through constant training to improve the standard of the industry.
