SPLASHING OUT AT RAMLEGH SPRINGS RAMLEGH Springs has recently announced a Kingswim, Learn to Swim centre and a YMCA Early Learning Centre will be opening within its highly sought-after Clyde North residential neighbourhood in early 2019. Now under construction, Kingswim will offer the convenience of more than 200 scheduled swimming classes per week, for tiny tots through to big kids from Clyde North and surrounds. When complete, the new facility will include a purpose-built, state-of-the-art 20m by six lane learn to swim pool heated to 32 degrees to ensure little ones can enjoy their swimming all year round. Kingswim Business Manager Craig Dowsing says the team is excited to support the local community, providing top-tier swimming lessons as specialists in the learn to swim category. “We’re also thrilled this centre will create 50 new local jobs in a community that is experiencing rapid population growth and demand for services,” he says. The YMCA Early Learning Centre is also under construction and is expected to open alongside Kingswim in early 2019, providing crucial Early Learning Services for 104 local children and local employment for up to 30 people. Lucy Stabb, Area Manager, YMCA Children’s Programs says: “Our early learning programs aim to instill a love of learning, foster curiosity and help children reach their full potential. We are thrilled to be soon taking enquiries from the local community for our Clyde North Early Learning Centre, our fourth in the local area.”

These announcements cap off other positive developments for Ramlegh Springs, including the proposed Thoroughbred Primary School, recently identified for State Government funding, and a council community centre which will provide maternal health services and a kinder for local kids.
