What is conveyancing and why do I need a conveyancer? Conveyancing is a term that is used to describe the process by which ownership of a property is transferred from one person to another. They will liaise with banks and other parties to coordinate the settlement. Settlement is the date on which the property transfer occurs, and you are legally entitled to, or renounce, possession.
