THE SPIRIT OF GIVING SHINES THROUGH SHOWING true Christmas spirit, the local Cardinia community has supported Parklea's annual Christmas Gift Drive, bringing Christmas joy to disadvantaged children. Parklea received a large amount of generously donated gifts, toys and nonperishable food items in the donation bins located across the Cardinia Shire. All gifts and food items were donated to Windermere Child and Family Services and The Salvation Army, who each year assist thousands of people in the local community with food, housing, job assistance, counselling, support and more. The Salvation Army distributed the donated gifts and food items to over 1,000

less fortunate families in the Cardinia Shire via Christmas hampers. These hampers helped feed families on Christmas day and bring joy to disadvantaged children. For most families, Christmas is a time of excitement and joy, as they celebrate the festive season with their family and friends.
