Kah-boom! Jockey back in winner’s stall Champion jockey Jamie Kah bounced back from a bumpy year to claim her first Pakenham Cup on the Ciaron Maher and David Eustace-trained favourite Smokin Romans on Saturday.

Justice Michael Croucher conceded an “interplay of factors outside of Hackett’s control” led to the accident, which included the sudden banking of traffic and Mr Styles’ heavy braking in response.
