Tragic crash A man from Cockatoo was among those injured when a car crashed into a beer garden in Daylesford. The 38-year-old Cockatoo man and a 43-year-old Kyneton woman were flown to the Royal Melbourne Hospital, while an 11-monthold baby boy who was with the pair was taken by road to Ballarat Base Hospital before being transferred to the Royal Children’s Hospital. All three were in a stable condition as of Monday 6 November. The baby’s mother, a 34-year-old woman from Cockatoo, was not injured. Three families were sitting in the Royal Daylesford Hotel’s roadside beer garden when a BMW SUV mounted the kerb and hit patrons about 6pm on Sunday 5 November. STORY PAGE 3
