Intersection a disaster
Revheads gear up
Attention has been brought to the intersections of Hope Street in Bunyip after a close-call collision last week – the second accident in just two months – that has prompted locals to air their safety concerns while a local MP has flagged it for State Parliament’s return this week. Cardinia Shire Council revealed that seven collisions have occurred at the intersection of Hope Street and Nar Nar Goon-Longwarry Road in the previous five years, not including the two in the last months. Narracan MP Wayne Farnham has heard the concerns of residents and a spokesperson has said he will be “raising the issue to sort out a solution“ as Parliament returns this week. STORY PAGE 4
