NISA
Basic Course (28 hours) NISA is a deep tissue technique that works directly on the fascia of the body. It provides long lasting changes to chronic postural habits, and most clients feel increased ROM and less restriction after one or two treatments. NISA is a softer, more gentle derivative of RolďŹ ng, and can be performed in individual treatments or in a speciďŹ c series of twelve weekly sessions with a direct focus of improving the person’s posture. The four day basic training is an intensive, practical, hands-on workshop. The entire body will be covered, and the techniques can easily be incorporated into your massage practice. Pre-requisites: must be a practicing massage therapist. Vancouver - Happening right before the Third International Fascia Research Congress! March 23, 24, 25, 26, 2012 - 9:30am to 5:30pm. Cost = $745 (incl.HST) Worth 24 credits from CMTBC (PE/A2)

riginated and developed by Armand Ayaltin DNM, RHT, RMT, and taught by him since the late 1980’s. It consists of its own scientiďŹ cally-based philosophy, therapist-friendly assessment and treatment. To reduce burn-out, body and hand postures are ergonomically designed. Therapy takes its cue directly from the assessment. This innovative procedure is designed to minimize the mental and physical stress of the Tx room.
