INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY JITONA (Projekt Point Green) The new development of an existing industrial area was challenging. We had to acommodate new design ideas together with arranging the new warehouses in a way that they will coexist with the previous buildings. We designed a proposal of three new warehouses which will create four spaces. Two of them will serve as parking lots and the other two as a relaxing place for workers.

VIZUALIZATION
The concept of a new modern district establishes the area, Waltrovka, to produce a high-quality residential project with suff icient civic amenities (shops, services, kindergarten) and plenty of greenery with different character. There is a proposed park of 1.7 ha across the whole area, linking the nature preserves, Vidoule and Divci hrady, and continuing as a green corridor to the river Vltava. The park offers a wide variety of vegetation, f rom large grassy areas through roads lined with trees that will complement the proposed housing. The large size and diversity of the area is used to create a wide variety of dwelling. There will be f ive to seven storey apartment buildings, three storey family villas and family houses. I was working on this project for more than half of the year as a junior architect. As a part of the team, I was entitled to work on different stages of preparation for tender plans. I was addressing the comments f rom our clients’ requests about the floor plans of the residential dwelling and also into commercial, developing the fasades, but mainly I was responsible for the coordination of the essential siteplan. THREE VILLAGES, Pilsner (Chybik+Kristof AA) Residential area Nova Valcha is located in rural surroundings on the edge of the city. The main qualities of the area of 27 ha is the context of the nature of the former military area and excellent transport links. The answer to the question of how to design quality dwelling for Nova Valcha while preserving the natural quality of the site is in the tradition of Czech villages. Based on our research it is possible to def ine three basic types of Czech villages: linear village, square village, radial forest village and orthogonal geometry village. Therefore such formations are proposed in the area. An important feature of the proposal is the concept of green and hierarchy of public, semipublic and private spaces f rom countryside to private gardens.

PROPOSAL new tunnel under the city centre more public space access to the riverbank city centre surrounded by new greenery
Masterplan development, Trencin (Chybik+Kristof AA) The international competition to develop a new masterplan for Slovak city Trencin. Conceptual competition to propose a new approach and vision for the city. The main problem of the existing city is the traff ic structure which creates pedestrian barriers for locals and tourists and leaves the riverbank empty without any public use. In our proposal, we came up with the new traff ic strategy with a tunnel under the historical city centre. Due to this solution, we were able to introduce a lot of new public spaces in our proposal including both urban and nature in the form of city parks. The parks are designed so they form a ring around the historical city centre and connect it with the river bank. I was mainly responsible for the essential siteplan.

OPERA HOUSE, Innsbruck (Chybik+Kristof AA) The House of Music in Innsbruck is designed as a combination of representative and architectural form and the attractive open public space, which creates the musical life in the city. The signif icant trees in the affected area, we understand as a volume, which forms the base spatial structure of the house and its surroundings along with the halls. The designed relationship between the trees and the rooms are a prerequisite for an active life. Not only in the house, but also in the space between the interior and the exterior. I was part of the small team to design this project since the f irst concept was introduced.

CONCEPT OF THE VIEW FROM MAIN HALL
The House of Music is an attractive center of public musical life in the city. With the form, it responds to the urban context of the city and place.
The spatial concept of the house is based on gradual calming of the visitors’ mind from the outside world. We design a scenario of the passage through individual “house levels”, from the public space of the street to the quietest seat in the house - the main hall with a view to the mountains.

ALTERNATIVE URBAN PROPOSAL OF THE DEVELOPMENT IN THE PROSTEVOJ CITY CENTRE Proposal - Due to the existing situation, the f irst step is to deal with the parking situation. In my project, I propose to build a new parking structure within f ive minutes walking distance f rom the city centre, nearby a city-proposed roundabout. The properties f reed f rom parked cars will therefore be engaged as adequate urban places. I propose the massing as a concept for future development, mostly in accordance with former development. I propose to limit the traff ic in this area so that the roads would be used mostly for pedestrians and cyclists while cars would have limited access. All previously mentioned is leading to improvement of public space for locals and tourists alike. After extended analysis of the whole city and its history, I propose to create two different

Landscape of Central Bohemia - slightly wavy, quite flat. The village Dolni Jircany is away f rom the road, surrounded by greenery of the private gardens where it is possible to expect future development. The historic center of the village is featured by a church tower. Because the project was for a small village, we did not want to design the school to stand out.
THE VOLUME OF THE SCHOOL
We chose a traditional town planning scheme of the
CONCEPT PF THE COURTYARD, CARDINAL POINTS
quadrangle 45 x 45 meters. We designed the courtyard to resemble a farm yard or play ground. The courtyard area would provide easier surveillance of the children and also provides more light of the interior halls. We designed the complex as a f ixed point in extensive landscape, a place where children feel safe, and will help ensure the development of every single child.

To Whom It May Concern
Re: Jitka Stastna 5.20/JS 02/05/12 Dear Sir or Madam Jitka has been working at EllisWilliams for the last several months and has been part of a small bid team for new ÂŁ18m secondary school. The design process has been intense, and Jitka has proved herself a valuable member of the team. Jitka has been able to develop and expand on design ideas using using BIM modelling (Revit), as well as more conventional presentation techniques such as Photoshop, CAD, and PowerPoint. JitkaĘźs design abilities and contributions are beyond what we would expect of someone with her level of education and experience. Jitka ka is highly motivated and works well within a team environment. I am convinced that Jitka would do exceedingly well in an academic environment in the UK, and I highly recommend her to you.
