ANIMAL WELFARE
We don’t support any activity that hurts or humiliates animals, and encourage our travellers to do the same. We were one of the first travel companies to make a stand on animal welfare, withdrawing products that go against our pioneering policy, including an outright ban on elephant riding, ostrich riding, captive whales and dolphins, Thailand's Tiger Temple and Pamplona’s Running of the Bulls.
We operate a comprehensive customer safety policy that not only keeps our travellers safe, but also helps to benefit the local suppliers we work with. If a property doesn’t meet our standards, we work with the owners so they can become compliant. This approach helps to raise the standards of health and safety globally, and boost their profitability locally.
SUPPORTING TEEN CANCER CHARITIES CUSTOMER SAFETY MATTERS
In the UK, seven young people aged between 13 and 24 are diagnosed with cancer each day. We work with nine charities around the world with one mission in mind: to make sure no young person faces cancer alone. Our goal is to raise USD $1 million by 2020. You can help by adding £2 to your booking, 100% of which will go to Teenage Cancer Trust.
