JANUARY/FEBRUARY Through individual student meetings as well as the four Junior Advisory meetings held up to this point, Prep Guidance has reinforced the following: • Importance of Junior year grades • A better understanding of Scoir, St. Augustine’s College Counseling Planning System • Awareness of Virtual and On-Campus College Visits • Compilation of schools that “I am Following” utilizing Scoir - College Search tool • Complete Assessments: Scoir • Development of an SAT/ACT testing plan

Senior Course Selection Identification of four teachers to write College Letters of Recommendation, submit online request form St. Augustine Prep allows three excused absences for college visits during the year Update your SAT/ACT testing plan; provide the plan to your College Counselor SAT TEST - May 7th & June 4th ACT TEST - June 11th & July 16th Consider financial realities - Net Price Calculator

If required, request to have your official SAT test scores sent from Collegeboard.org and/or request to have your official ACT test scores sent from ACTstudent.org to all the colleges to which you will apply. Note: It may take up to 3 weeks for schools to receive your scores. Submission of test scores is the responsibility of the student. Maintain grades - mid-year reports (1st-semester grades) will be sent if required by the college. File Financial Aid Forms - FAFSA will be available online at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa in early October. The CSS Profile is available at www.collegeboard.org/css-financial-aid-profile.
