With more than 100 different clubs and societies, including music, drama, sports and other creative opportunities, St Cat’s girls are encouraged to develop existing interests to exciting levels and take up new ones. A great many clubs and societies are pupil-led and, alongside our outdoor education programme, offer real leadership opportunities and few limits to what can be pursued. Above and beyond the curriculum, your daughter’s club choices will help her make friends, explore her interests and find and develop her talents, enriching her education at St Catherine’s.
At a Freshers Fair in the Autumn Term, your daughter can find out all about these enrichment opportunities from girls already taking part in them, and then choose to sign up. The interests and activities catered for include: literary, cultural, political, scientific, musical, artistic, practical, technical, dramatic and sporting activities. Your daughter’s Housemistress will encourage her to look for involvement in societies and activities that spark her interest. These opportunities will increase as she moves up the School. Here’s an idea of what is on offer, and the creation of new clubs, societies and activities is always welcomed.
