SCAS’ positive reputation in the community is reflected in: ƒ High retention rates. ƒ A high demand for student places. ƒ The popularity of its performance culture. ƒ Its reputation for high academic achievement. ƒ The employability of its students in part-time and full time positions. ƒ The high demand of trainee teachers to undertake practicum experience at the school. Parent, student and staff satisfaction is monitored with use being made of initiatives such as: ƒ A whole school survey completed in 2019 by parents, staff and students to gather their feedback on all aspects of the school. ƒ A survey of Primary School parents on assessment. ƒ An exit survey for Year 12 students. ƒ Annual Staff Engagement surveys ƒ Information nights for parents on projectbased learning. ƒ A feedback form on the school website to collect suggestions, compliments and complaints from parents, staff and students. ƒ Parent Connect seminars to inform and engage parents on topics of their choosing.

Feedback from these surveys indicates that the school community is overwhelmingly pleased with the education and pastoral offerings of the school.
