What do you want your life to look like one year from now? Imagine I'm an old friend who hasn’t seen you in a year and we’re catching up over coffee. Write down what you hope your future self will tell me about the last year of your life. What do you hope to have acheived in the three most important areas of your life?

Business In one year hope to be saying to my friend “Wow the last year has been an absolute dream. I started with 1 employee and now we’re a team of 4. I love going to work everyday and seeing my clients actually get results. Plus, it helps that I made double my projections and can afford to pay my whole team way above market rate.”

Personal I have never been more at peace with myself than I was this year. I figured out who I am and what I want and I love the person that I have become. I’m really enjoying life right now

CREATE A SYSTEM

Fitness I managed to actually find a gym routine that I like and could stick to. I brought those dark blue jeans I used to love and they FINALLY fit again. I’ve also become super obsessed with smoothies and I feel energised without having to drink tons of coffee.

The Big Picture page is where you get to dream about the future. It asks you to imagine what you want your life to look like a year from now, in 3 different areas.

Progress looks like more enquiries, being able to invest in better tools and eventually having to say no to work If I don’t do these, I won’t hit my targets and I won’t be able to sustain the business. Might have to fire someone which I don’t want to do. I’ll feel like a failure.

The Create a System page is at the very centre of the Steady System. It guides you through setting a big goal, breaking it into two smaller goals, then choosing a set of actions that you must do daily and weekly in order to make the goal happen.

P.s. You can tear this page out and tuck it in the pocket so you don’t have to flip back and forth to see it. There’s other useful stuff in the pocket too, but we’ll get to that later.

This page shows you each month at a glance. You can write in important dates, big project deadlines, upcoming vacations, dentists appointments etc. Use the notes section here to write one or two big tasks you would like to hit as you go along with your systems. It’s an undated planner, so you can tear out, or flip to the ‘year at a glance’ page and use that as a reference for dates.

Finished designing the new planner. Brought in a new hire and got him started on the job. Booked a holiday for New years :) . Got a new client! Didn’t get a lot of sleep which got me ill. Fell behind on tasks.

Learnt how to automate sales and marketing workflows. Discovered that pistachio ice cream is not all bad. Also really enjoyed designing pages

Morning is a better time Did okay Harder than I thought

Next week, I’m going to stick to an earlier bedtime and make sales calls in the mornings when people are fresh. Send an email before call Looking forward to getting my massage and having a new hire to take on workload. Got a video concept meeting on Tue. Fun

The Weekly planning page will help you reflect on how the last week went. What was good? What was bad? What can you take into next week? You also get a chance to track how well you’ve kept to your systems that week. Finally, there are little prompts to help you get ready for the week ahead. 5

This is the MVP of all our pages and the one you’ll use most often. Plan down to the hour, eat the proverbial frog first, knock out your tasks and still have room to write or doodle everything that pops into your head. Best of all, at the bottom of each page, you can cross out the actions you’ve done that day according to your system. Feed this back into the weekly check-in page at the end of every week.

The planner also includes a few other tools to help you make the most out of it. In the pocket, you will find a sheet of tab and highlight stickers which you can use to mark important pages and dates and add a bit of colour to your pages. We will also be sending a bunch of free additional worksheets and productivity tips every week that work well with the planner. You can have a look at the empty planner pages if you keep scrolling to the right. -------------------That’s about it! Hope you feel fully equipped to go forth and conquer with your new system. The best way to use this planner is the way that will work best for you. The second best way is the way we’ve just described. Happy Planning! The Steady Planner Team

CRE ATE A SYSTE M

’s system

1

SET GOALS What’s your main goal for the next 3 months? (Get specific. E.g., ‘earn more money’ is a broad goal, but ‘earn $1,500 extra a month’ is a clear, specific goal)

2

BREAK IT DOWN What has to happen in order for this goal to be a reality? (e.g If your main goal is to lose 5kg, your two broken down goals can be to eat better and to do more exercise)

1. 2.

3

CREATE A SYSTEM What specific actions must you do consistently to get you closer to this goal? These will become the core of your system which you will track throughout the planner. These should be doable, repeatable, straightforward actions that are easy to remember. E.g for the revenue goal, one system can be to make 3 sales calls to potential clients every day, or release new content every Thursday. For the weightloss goal, a system can be to do a 20 minute run on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6am, or to prep the next day’s healthy lunch every night. The more specific, the better.)

I WILL

HOW OFTEN Daily/Weekly

WHEN

1. 2. 3.

4

PROGRESS What does progress look like over the next 3 months? What changes do you expect to see as you repeat the actions in your system?

5

CONSEQUENCES How will you be affected if you don’t achieve this goal in the next 3 months? What changes?

6

REWARD How will you celebrate achieving this goal? What will you reward yourself with?
