Graphic and Layout Design
THESIS BOOK I produced a final, hard-copy book of all my thesis work in InDesign. I wanted to create an organized and crisp layout that allowed the viewer to easily find the figures. The text can be found online at: http://issuu.com/fmartdundee/docs/

BROCHURE For my final thesis we were asked to present our findings to the public through a display. I created posters and brochures that people could take away.
10
SITE REBRAND Following my graduation and expansion of my freelance work, I redesigned my personal website and created the Vernacular branding with logos and tag lines.
11
IBOOK LAYOUT Collaborating with surgeons at Ninewells Hospital, I worked to create the layout of an iBook to be used in the medical School to teach surgical students.

OBJECTIVES

I created course objective sheets as an outline to be presented to future Integrated Science students about what to be expected from a specfic course, but also remain fun as it was a course centered around particiapation and community building. This was later redesigned to include photographs pertaining to the course.
15
CV REDESIGN In 2012 I began a resume redesign focusing on typography elements and infographic style.
16
EX LIBRIS I created an ex libris for a client pulling together graphic elements, their initials (MK), and a quotation from the poet Lisa Robertson.

FACIAL NERVE The facial nerve is the seventh cranial nerve. It emerges from the brainstem between the pons and the medulla, controls the muscles of facial expression, and functions in the conveyance of taste sensations from the anterior two-thirds of the tongue and oral cavity. It also supplies preganglionic parasympathetic fibers to several head and neck ganglia.
24
25
SCULPTURE This project aimed to aid in the development of fundamental facial reconstruction techniques as well as an ability to create anatomical models that are both creative and informative.
26
27
PAPER ART Using a variety of techniques such as origami, paper quilling, paper tole as well as scanning various paper textures and using layers in Photoshop, I’ve been able to create vibrant images directed towards child education.
