The Ocean City Free Public Library offers an extensive selection of books and other materials, a robust catalog of digital content, and an impressive slate of programming for all ages.

From classic novels and beloved children’s books to current best sellers and young adult series, the library’s catalog includes more than 110,000 books, as well as audio books, magazines, newspapers, CDs, and DVDs. Whether patrons are looking for the perfect beach read or a movie to salvage a rainy day, the library offers a range of options to enhance any vacation.

The OCFPL offers a full schedule of events, ranging from kid’s puppet shows and young adult book clubs to concerts and workshops for adults. If in-person programming isn't possible, library staff hosts virtual events designed to educate, entertain, and inspire patrons participating from any location.

If in-person visits aren't possible, the library offers a wealth of digital content through its website and app. Digital resources such as Hoopla, Freegal, Overdrive, and Newsbank allow access to free movies, TV, music, eBooks, audio books, comics, newspapers, periodicals and journals, 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
