"KIM" stands for "research focus industrial membranes". The project was carried out by STENUM research company and consultancy for preventive industrial environmental protection and sustainable development, the Institute for Chemical Engineering of Leoben University of Technology and the Institute for Chemical Engineering of Graz University of Technology. Goal of the project was to identify areas of application for industrial membranes in Styrian companies to close water cycles to reuse industrial waste water.
