STEP Academy Switzerland is part of a global network of private education centers developed in 21 countries. The STEP network includes 4 private universities, 10 private schools, and 102 training centers (Jan 2021). The Swiss branch was created in March 2018 and offers various programs for children between 4 and 17 years old. Throughout the school year, STEP Academy offers courses as well as camps during school holidays. These programs introduce children to programming, 3D design, robotics, space exploration, video game creation, experimental science, science, digital arts & filmmaking.

STEP Academy Switzerland Roadmap June 2017. At World Summit on Informational Society organized by ITU and UNESCO in Geneva, Junior Computer Academy was ranked as a Champion in “Capacity Building.” March 2018. In collaboration with Geneva Business School, the first Swiss branch was established. February 2019. Start of collaboration with Ecole Moser (Geneva). August 2019. A new office in Geneva (Nations) opened. August 2020. The second office in Geneva (Champel). September 2020. Start of collaboration with Swedish International School, College Saint-Louis. February 2021. First classes in Lausanne. April 2021. Classes in First classes in Zurich and Vevey. Start of collaboration with Institute International de Lancy.


PARTNERSHIP FORMATS 1. AFTER-CLASSES PARTNER STEP Academy provides after-classes inside the school. The duration of the classes may be adjusted from 1 hour up to 3 hours. The school is responsible for accounting and tuition fees. STEP Academy charges 15 CHF per hour per student and provides all the equipment necessary for the classes. The minimum number of student per group: 4. The maximum: 12.

CAMP PARTNER During school holidays in October, February, May-April, and July-August STEP Academy organizes holiday programs. • If the school already organizes camps, STEP Academy can be one of the providers on specific topics and age groups. • If the school is not organizing camps, STEP Academy can rent the classrooms.

3. ACADEMIC PARTNER STEP Academy invests in the creation of a Maker Space (Fabrication Laboratory) inside a school and organizes classes on digital subjects during the day, after-classes, and holiday programs. Specific programs, objectives, equipment, and fees to be discussed.
