Education
3 Nursery School classes, providing 80 children with access to Early Education. School fees provided for 25 children in primary, secondary and vocational schools
Increase in the number of children that passed the primary school entrance exam; Increase the number of children continuing their education that would have otherwise dropped out due to the lack of family resources for school fees
Health care
60 children taken to the doctor to address medical concerns as they arise. Partnership with Family Hope Charity to offer free medical clinic, 500 children and their families attended medical screenings
Improvements in children’s health and increase access to basic medical care
Housing, food, clothing
18 children provided full-time housing; 2 meals a day served for 80 children in the nursery school; 60 families provided food assistance

Improvements in understanding of the need for Psychosocial support for children and their families; increased understanding of inter-relationships amongst staff
9 staff participated in weekly group counseling sessions for four months;

3 teachers attended a Special Needs training at Gertrude Hospital
Other‌
75 parents attended parent/teacher day with workshops on medical/protective care from Doctors Without Borders and basic business practices from Almasi Organization 12 adolescents attend weekly Girls/Boys Club at a local school
Increased understanding of children with special needs and classroom techniques; increased ability to recognize common developmental delays, and introduced to referral opportunities for children with special needs Improved knowledge of available health and reproductive health resources within the community; increase business knowledge and management of their small businesses Increase literacy skills as well as introduction to life skills, financial literacy, reproductive health, and confidence building activities
