Design Philosophy "A mastectomy does not take away from who we are, young or old. It would be nice to have bedroom wear that would better allow us to wear with our partner" De Valeur was founded in 2013 by a group of designers who wanted to make a difference in the lingerie world. We set up our brand to provide gorgeous quality bedroom lingerie with strong designs. De Valeur are a high-end lingerie company who provide post-mastectomy women with exquisite and luxurious lingerie. We believe every woman should be catered to within the realm of high-end lingerie, as all women, no matter their age, race, or circumstance has every right to feel feminine and beautiful. After the confidence knock of a mastectomy, women need to feel that they can regain their sex appeal and to be able to feel good about their bodies, and comfortable in their own skin. Our exquisite boudoir range will assist women with regaining their confidence, not only with their partner, but within themselves. Our lingerie can provide that, with sophisticated, classic and flattering design utilizing the finest silks, french lace, and bespoke perfumed elastics. We are also aware of our customer’s well-being and comfort, and use aloe-infused linings to promote healing.

Our collection is for women who want to feel fantastic not only for their partners but for themselves as well. In our recent collection, prices range from ÂŁ40 up to ÂŁ275. We also offer a bespoke service online which allows customers who want just that little bit more luxury to choose their favourite perfume to infuse the elastics within their chosen garments. This service is extremely unique and not offered at any other brand, price points for bespoke garments reflect this. We believe at De Valeur that women would find price irrelvant if it would result in regaining their confidence and feminity. At De Valeur we are all about providing bedroom wear to confident, outgoing, and sophisticated women.

Market Research
Market research showed that most mastectomy bras were based on providing comfort and coverage as opposed to playing the positive in a woman’s life allowing her to regain her body/sexuality affirming roles that lingerie should play. Eloise Lingerie provides unflattering mastectomy lingerie, the brand uses very plain fabrics and colour palettes including white, beige & black being the main colours. Research shows that there is no technical reason for these unappealing mastectomy bras available on the current market which is why at De Valeur we have such an unusual niche worldwide.
Market Research
Only recently has Marlies Dekkers created her very first fashion forward mastectomy bra with matching knickers. However, this is their only style and colour which might not appeal to women of all ages.
During our research we found that current brands that supplied mastectomy bras didn’t have matching knickers.
At De Valeur we offer a variety of knicker styles to match our beautiful bras. Due to the limits of current mastectomy bras we believe that women wouldn’t put a price on regaining their femininity and confidence. At De Valeur we offer extreme luxury never seen on the market before including infused elastic with the customers favourite perfume, luxurious coloured silks, Chantilly eyelash lace combined with essentials including aloe vera lining to help the healing process.

At De Valeur’s launch party we will have a surprise celebrity guest that has also went through the trauma of a mastectomy. She will be sharing her story as well as modelling our collection on our very own catwalk runway in Selfridges. A lookbook will also be given out to guests so they are able to view all of our collection as well as a free scented candle.
