Dear Applicant, Congratulations to you for taking the first bold step towards becoming the next leader to lead this organization. Some months ago I was in your shoes, going through an LCP application for the first time. Looking back today am glad I made that decision and I must say even though the ride has been rough, I would forever be grateful for this experience This is a journey of self-discovery and development, far beyond what I expected when I was filling this application around a year ago. It is not going to be easy, and it’s not going to be what you expect, there would be rainy days but there would be happy days too. Accept them all and make the most of it. There would be times when you would lose hope and start doubting yourself being the right person to lead this entity. As hard as it is I really love this experiences and will be forever grateful for AIESEC. The experience has been worth the while and I would like you to know that these three things kept me going; Be Brave; dare to try before you conclude it’s impossible, if it doesn’t challenge you it doesn’t change you. Focus; never forget your purpose and belief in what you do. Such days when you feel like quitting, think of why you started and have held on for so long. Be Yourself; maintain a positive character, for in the end it’s what makes people follow you not the bravery or focuses, remember you don’t have to be perfect to inspire people, let people get inspired by how you deal with your imperfections. Finally only achievements will define your term’s success. So don’t be scared to strive for more Wish all candidates the best of luck and a great experience.
