LEED-ND Site Options Stephanie Kean, MCRP
LEED-ND
LEED FOR NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENTS The U.S. Green Building Council, Congress for the New Urbanism, and Natural Resources Defense Council collaborated to develop a national standard for neighborhood design that integrates the principles of green building and smart growth. The goal of this partnership is to engage stakeholders across the country in establishing consensus-based standards for assessing the impacts of development projects using the rating framework of the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System™ which has become the national standard for high performance buildings. The following sites are areas within Albuquerque, New Mexico that meet the rating system criteria.
