Simple Steps to a

Successful Facebook Party! 1. Make sure you have written your party date information down. If you need to reschedule or cancel your party, please let me know ASAP. I know that life happens, but please remember this is how I feed my family. Giving me notice allows me to schedule another party in your time slot and gives us a chance to find a new time that works best for both of us.

2. Make your wish list of what YOU want!! Text or message me a picture of your completed wishlist so we know what we are working towards. Plan for at least a $600 party. We are going to achieve this together!

3. Make a list of 40-50 people who you’d like to invite and whom you think would absolutely love our products. Think outside the box a little bit. Never just assume someone won’t be interested in partying. You’d be surprised. No one has ever been insulted to receive an invite to a party, only to not be invited!

4. Once you have your list, text or message me a photo! We will then work together to start sending invitations! You should send invites in multiple

ways - Facebook messages, text messages, plus emailed or mailed invitations. Thirty-one has some great email templates in the hostess portal. If you haven’t received an email with your login information, let me know and I will get that to you.

5. When sending Facebook messages, NEVER send group messages. Trust me, people don’t like it, and it could land you in Facebook jail. An individual message to each person you invite makes your guests feel special and not just “spammed.”

You can say something like, “Hi there, I’ve been really enjoying using Thirty-one’s (insert your favorite product here and how you’ve been using it.) I saw a bunch of other things in the catalog that I loved so I decided to have a party to share these great products with you. Can I send you an invite?” 6.

Challenge yourself to collect $200 in outside orders before the party starts. I will provide you with your personal party link and mail you some catalogs, order forms, and monthly specials flyers. Circulate these at work, church, kids’ events, and anywhere else you frequent. Don’t forget to remind them of the customer specials and if they want to add them to their order!

7. I will create a Facebook event for you in the days leading up to the party. Please ONLY invite those who said YES they would like an invite. This helps

your guests feel special and ensures that only those who want to be there are a part of the event. Make sure you

RSVP

“going” to

the event and remind your guests to do the same.

8. Share what you love about Thirtyone on the Facebook party wall and during the party itself. Remember, your friends don’t care why I love Thirty-one, they want to hear why you love Thirtyone!

9. Interact on EVERY post in the party. Do not just “like” the posts, but answer the questions, comment on the items you like best, and tag friends you think would enjoy a certain product, saying something like, “Susie, I could totally see you using that large utility tote for the kids’ toys in the living room!”

10. Encourage your friends to book a party with me. When you have 3 bookings made from your party, YOU will receive an extra gift from me!

11. Curious about my job?! Let me know and we’ll talk! I’ll still help you every step of the way, but we could turn your party into your LAUNCH party and you will get all the hostess goodies AND the commission!
