I’m Stephanie Messick, a photographer based in Warrenton, Virginia where my soul feels right at home, surrounded by rural living. I genuinely love what I do and feel so passionate to share the enthusiasm and joy with others! When I’m not behind my camera, I enjoy breathtaking mountain views, relaxing on the beach, hiking, road tripping, wine dates with friends (want to join?!), warm blankets fresh from the dryer, Nutella (my workouts balance it out in my diet ;), attending JMU football games (Go Dukes!), quality time with family, decorating, and cuddling with my rambunctious kitty, Pixie! PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE My job is to make sure that you are prepared and excited for your session! I will help you find the perfect location that suits you best, give clothing and accessory suggestions, and answer any questions you might have anticipating your scheduled date. Spending time with my clients has allowed me to capture their true essence, from the soft and natural moments to the sincere smiles and laughs. My favorite part of photographing any occasion are the unscripted, authentic, in between moments. But don’t worry when it comes to our time together, I won’t leave you hanging!
