This Portfolio displays a selection of work both as an Intern and Undergrad. Academically, I focused my studies related to the issue of sustainability. In studio, researching and analyzing materials of ‘Life Cycle Design’. The understanding of fabrications and properties within the materials’ matter which enables the deployment of new material strategies. Currently working at a small sized firm, I communicate project progress to all team members. Organizing and prioritizing various projects, while also developing Construction Documents. Communicating & meeting with: Clients, General Contractors, Engineers and other members working on respected projects. As well as reviewing Shops/Specs, going on site visits, taking existing measurements. And assisting with project proposals and presentations.

Micro Unit Housing Sited within a dense urban environment this project seeks to explore a variety of housing conditions by means of micro unit housing. By exploring the notion of dwelling within a minimal square footage, this project proposes a flexible and adaptive system of interior partitions. These partitions allow for constant temporal evolution over the course of the day while simultaneously facilitating interaction between the inhabitants and the building itself.

Bushwick Inlet Brooklyn NY The design approach was dealt through the study of applying actions to materials. As the materials react, a new system is then analyzed and investigated further. The study is then placed within the site and takes into consideration: water flows, typologies, entries, public and private spaces. Creating free flowing paths that intertwine throughout removed, renewed and disassembled storage tanks. These new spaces now serve the community as a renewed urban park.

Fractured Faultlines Establishing a connection between Rutgers, NJIT and Essex, with the downtown district; the Newark Graduate Project delivers the role of integrating the two sectors in a grand space of public amenities with an open plaza that serves to bridge the gap between the two areas undergoing urban redevelopment. The building wraps around the corners and creates a fault line that divides the colleges from downtown.

“Italy’s legacy as a fertile ground of cultural production extends beyond the country’s current geographic and political manifestation, throughout twenty eight centuries of the land’s occupation. The roots of Italian artistic and architectural heritage live in the country’s land, water, light and language and continue to influence not only its own people, but also generations of travelers who arrive on its shores, carrying its memory to distant lands. The echoes of this romantic place ripple with intensity.” - NJIT Siena Summer 2014
