a letter from the
Supanchick’s Dear Shorthorn Friends;
I would like to welcome you to the first ‘Fall Harvest’ Shorthorn Production Sale. We have tried to put together an offering that is not only elite but also very unique. We have built off of cattle purchased from some of the top herds in the country and strive to breed cattle that will remain functional and sound for years to come. This calf crop has been an interesting one, amidst the worst drought in decades they grew and gained exceptionally well. We are working with genetic lines that have longevity and consistency. We have invited some close friends with similar programs to share their cattle with you as well. They have brought their best to be offered to you. We thank them for being a part of this sale and for their friendship. We hope you are able to take some time from your busy schedules to be with us on Saturday, October 5th to evaluate this offering. Sincerely, Steve & Mollie Supanchick Supanchick Shorthorns
a letter from the
Warner’s Dear Shorthorn Friends;
We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to the first ‘Fall Harvest’ Shorthorn Production Sale. There will be many top quality cattle available at this exciting event. Here at Warner Ranch Shorthorns, our cows are managed like commercial cattle. They have been selected, and culled, on structural correctness, fertility, disposition and udder and feet quality. Wyoming is a tough environment which has done a lot of the culling for us. We expect a cow to raise a calf every year and keep her own body condition in an efficient manner. If you are looking for a solution to lower birth weights and moderate frame size, we invite you to consider these females. They are likely to be real out-cross genetics to many of the popular bloodlines. Most of our current herd sires are purebred Canadian Shorthorns. We found sound, productive beef cattle there that are functional and possess lots of natural muscle and are structurally correct. We feel they have been a great asset to our own herd. In our program we haven’t focused on heavy A.I. or Embryo Transfer. We feel that a great bull is the best investment we can make for the future of our herd. There have been some outstanding herd bulls walking the pastures here. Thanks you for taking time to study our sale catalog. On behalf of all of the consignors, we hope you will come and spend the afternoon with us on October 5, in Grand Island, Nebraska.
We look forward to seeing you there, Bryan and Marti Warner (and others) 3

Open. What a fantastic way to kickoff the first annual harvest sale with a set of show heifer prospects that we believe may be our best yet. These two Cherry heifers are from the top of our program. The Dazzler female has loads of fleshing ability and maternal quality. She has the right pieces to go the distance both in the show ring and down the road as a great cow. The Two Tone heifer has a little different genetic twist. She is young but getting better and better with every day. She will be loads of fun for one lucky junior to show this winter.
