Welcome to Share the Vision 2016 Thank you for your interest and support of the Du-Lyn and Esquire Cattle programs. We are excited about our first production sale. Over the years Du-Lyn and Esquire have been partners on cattle most notably Element 79 the Canadian and National Western Champion Bull. More importantly we have become close friends. It is a real pleasure to be in business with good friends. Duane, Tim, Erin and Dave want to extend an invitation to join us on October 22 and 23 for our inaugural sale. The 22nd will be for viewing the cattle and socializing. We will have a dinner of wood fired pizza and appetizers on Saturday evening and a smoked beef brisket lunch prior to the sale on Sunday. There will be an open bar on both days. The sale this year is at the Du-Lyn Ranch just outside of Berlin, Ohio. Berlin is the capital of Ohio’s Amish Country so plan to come early and enjoy the local shopping and scenery. We have blocked rooms in both Millersburg and Berlin. Berlin is a dry township so if you want to enjoy a cocktail after leaving the ranch, you will want to stay in Millersburg. Both Du-Lyn and Esquire are primarily Shorthorn breeders, but we are offering ShorthornPlus genetics and even a purebred Angus bull calf. At the end of the day, our goal is to produce high quality, high performance, structurally correct cattle that work not just in the show ring but also in the pasture after the shows are over. We are proud of the offering we have put together for this sale and think you will be impressed as well. We stand behind the cattle that we sell and our service does not stop at the fall of the hammer. If you have questions please feel free to call us. Duane 330.231.3431 or Dave 330.204.4351

I really like this heifer’s head, wide muzzle, big jaw, big ears and long neck that fits in with her shoulders, then explodes into her rib cage with width of hooks and pins, sound and moves freely. Plus, she has great hair, and a great disposition along with the look. She will have a great show career and even more value as a cow. The Dee Dee’s are rare and tough in the show ring. You’ll love to see her Element 79 progeny.

What an exciting outcross pedigree put together in a perfect red and white heifer. This Element heifer has been a standout since birth and she has done nothing but get better and better. This one is put together so well and so sound right with it. This heifer has tons of depth and style. Her mother, Miss Lea 24Y, is a standout at Crawfdown Farms. I think this one has all the potential to be just like her mother and make a great donor cow after her successful show career.

What a special heifer this one has turned out to be. Deep red, big hipped, great rib and even better through her front one-third. This heifer is the complete package. When we purchased her mother, Dream Lady 379, a daughter of the great SS Dream Lady 554, we knew she was going to do great things and this Low Rider heifer has been no disappointment. I can see this one bringing in banners and ribbons whenever she is being led into the ring. Don’t miss out on your chance to be the one walking her in.

These two full sisters were well worth the wait! I’m not sure that you can put together a pedigree as good as this. Sired by one of the breed legends, WHR Sonny and out of a direct daughter of the one of the breed matriarch cows, SS Augusta Pride 3127. Both of these heifers are the real deal. 1216 is a big, deep, stout, heifer with a lot of bone. 1266 is a little more moderate in her build. Both of these heifers are going to mature into be great cows and donors down the road like their dam, who has been the standout donor of my herd. Sadly she is getting some age to her and I am only going to sell one of these great heifers to keep the other back to replace her.

The Charisma cattle have been collecting banners and ribbons at every show they have been going too. And with semen not available on the open market that makes them very special when they come along. An ET heifer out of a cow that is a full sib to the very successfully shown and multiple National Champion, SULL Roan Rose Mary, this heifer has all the pieces to follow in her family footsteps. This heifer is very balanced and carries herself very well. She is very powerful in her hip and has plenty of bone. Here are a couple of ET calves out of an outcrossed donor from Cates Farms, JTM Athena 930. She produced a $37,000 heifer that went on to be a Reserve Division Champion at Ft. Worth. That heifer is a full sister to this beautiful roan heifer. Here is a well put together heifer that I think will be able to follow in her sister’s footsteps. She is very complete in her structure and has the pieces you want to build one. The Damn Proud cattle have went on to do great things. Her March maternal sister is one to get very excited about. How often do you get the chance to purchase one of the highly sought after Solution show heifers, and in an outcross pedigree on the bottom side to boot! Here is one that continues to impress and improve everyday and when we get visitors at the barn she is a standout. This deep red heifer has a great 1/3 put together with a deep middle and great hip and super sound. I get very excited thinking about this one’s future. Esquire Cattle Co. & Harper Farms
