WHAT A DAY!! STEADY, STEADY, STEADY. This day was like no other. This was the largest offering of Shorthorn cattle to be sold at one location in recent memory. The quality of the cattle was just outstanding with a huge crowd on hand to take part in history. The beautiful day that dawned was again like no other at this sale. This snappy sale saw tremendous activity from the crowd at the sale and those on the internet and on the phones. The prices given for the cattle were steady from start to finish. Congratulations to Derek and Brock Jungels and their crew along with guest consignors Stangl Shorthorns, GCF Shorthorns, Pearl Valley Shorthorns, Bar / N Cattle Co and Deerhorn Farms for the presentation of a superior event. This sale was the second highest gross on Shorthorn Cattle this Fall sale season. AGAIN, WHAT A DAY!! $21,500 - Lot 137 - Bull - Bar N Conviction 011H. A roan, polled May 7, 2020 son of Bar N Intensity 811F and out of Bar N A15 Florence 503C. This is a tremendous young herd sire that has all any serious breeder would want in his herd. His performance numbers are among the best anywhere. He definitely can be a breed changer. Offered by Bar N Cattle Co and purchased by Jay Gudjates, Steel Hill Ranch of Mento, North Dakota. $7,250 - Lot 78 - Bred Heifer - JSF Darcy 140H. A roan, horned March 2020 daughter of JSF Compass 186A and out of DDF Golden Darcy 61D selling bred to Byland Range Officer for a May 2022 calf. This group of bred heifers was just a great set. This was one of the favorites. She has the high quality traits that all like to find in bred females. Offered by JSF and purchased by Scott Bye of Kevin, Montana. $7,000 - Lot 6 - Open Heifer - JSF All Sevens 22J. R roan, horned February 16, 2021 daughter of Jake’s Reincarnation 228Y and out of JSF All Sevens 73G. Everyone looks for a young show prospect that will compete and then become a donor female in her future. This is the one. This one will come up Sevens. She is really good. Offered by JSF and purchased by Brad Kallstrom of Wheaton, Minnesota. $7,000 - Lot 130 - Bull - Deerhorn Rifleman 020H. A roan, polled May 2020 son of JDMC Standout 29Z ET and out of Deerhorn 607S Lady 34C. When you see this herd sire you see herd bull. Big an stout made, he has all the dimension and style to be a leader in the breed in the future. Out of the leading cow family at Deerhorn. Offered by Deerhorn Farms and purchased by the Dale Studer Family of Creston, Iowa. $7,000 - Lot 47 - Bred Heifer - SBR Harmony 011H. A red, polled April 2020 daughter of JSF Wallstreet 106C ET and out of GCF Magie 430B selling bred to PVF Justice 3G for a March 2022 calf. This was one of the many top bred heifers presented by Stangl Shorthorns and really a good one. The Wallstreet cattle continue to impress with their makeup and design. Offered by Stangl Shorthorns and purchased by Jimm Hegg of Bruce, South Dakota. $7,000 - Lot 67 - Bred Heifer - Bar N 54B Georgina 014H. A roan, polled May 2020 daughter of PVF Fierce 75F and out of JDMC Larks Canyon 54B selling bred to JSF Palmero 172H for a March 2022 calf. This was another of the very popular bred heifers. She is deep sided and impeccable in her design. She will be a great brood cow. Her calf by Palermo will be a good one. Offered by Bar N Cattle and purchased by Carl Schohr of Gridley, California. $7,000 - Lot 79 - Bred Heifer - JSF Delight 139H. A red, polled March 2020 daughter of Muridale Raw Hide 6E and out of WR 975 Delight 801 selling bred to JSF Palermo 172H for a February 2022 calf. Another leading bred in this sale. Her sire is a top sire for Warner Ranch in Wyoming. She has Wall Street on her dam’s side. She will be another top brood cow in her future.
