WELCOME Thank you for taking the time to view the ladies our 2nd Annual Finest Female Event. We invite you Danforth to inspect what we feel is the best group of females we have ever assembled. Our goal with this sale is to create an event that will bring an array of maternal females that will compete with the best in the business; both in the ring & in the pasture. We feel we have done just that! In our inaugural year of this sale, we brought a Junior National Champion, several breed/division winners at the state fair level, many jackpot top 5 finishes, and too many purple ribbons throughout the year to list. And as we see those females entering production, we cannot be any more proud. With that said, this year’s set takes the cake over what we brought to you in 2016. HANDS DOWN, this is the best set of heifers that we have ever put together here at Gray Show Cattle! This baldy beauty drew lot 1 in our 2016 Finest Female event & it is most definitely fitting. She not only is out of the proven sire that is dominating the Simmental breed, but has purple running threw her veins being backed by the Supreme Maintainer Female at the 2010 National Western Stock Show. This heifer is picture perfect from the profile; being flat muscled, huge ribbed, and has that smooth shoulder that ties into a beautiful front end. Extremely maternal, extremely competitive in the ring, and extremely profitable in the donor pen!

A few years back we were lucky enough to become partners with Griswold Cattle Company on a head turning, eye catching, and female making machine named GCC Whizard. This bull surprises us every year as we have used him on many different matings, but this heifer takes the cake! This is a show heifer deluxe! This is not your ordinary Simmental influenced female as she is freak fronted, long spined, and as sound as you can make one. She has a lush haircoat and shows us extra extension & grow to take her new owner to the backdrop into later summer & fall 2017. This Char Composite heifer is one who sets the path for the rest of the composite heifers out there. She is so easy going, easy feeding and easy to look at. For a composite char she is flawlessly structured and screams “donor”. Her looks aren’t the only thing to make you scream her dam won numerous amounts of shows for the Gilbert family in Ohio. This one will be sure to impress & we here at Gray Show Cattle are already jealous of that progeny she’ll be cranking out down the road.
