I would like to dedicate this sale to my dearest friend, partner and boss, Zoe Dell. After graduation from the University of Kentucky in 1973, I was very fortunate to be named Cattle Manager of KBJ Ranch, owned by ERV and Zoe Dell Nutter. Zoe Dell was nearly 105 years old and was known as an icon throughout life; chronicled in magazines and was called The Most Photographed Woman in the world. Not only did she have a minor league movie contract, but an inexhaustible smile when “Treasure Island” hired her as “Theme Girl” in 1938. She truly loved the cattle, especially bottle feeding 75 ET babies in 1975. She will truly be missed, but her passion and energy will always remain with me.
