Our sale offering starts with one of the best cow prospects we have ever offered. P4C is a great illustration of many optimum traits we are striving to produce. She came easy with an 83 BW, developed at a manageable pace posting 641 WW and 967 YW, all while maintaining a superior skeletal design and developing outstanding carcass traits, 0.25” BF, 11.9 REA, 5.13 IMF. P4C also measured with one of the largest pelvic areas in the entire offering. Her mother is an easy fleshing, athletic brood cow with super milk production and easy disposition. This heifer is a can’t miss prospect with nearly unlimited breeding options.
For those that are fans of the heifer we campaigned last fall, this young donor prospect is as close a replica as we can generate both phenotypically and genetically. Elizabeth P8C is a powerhouse heifer out of one of the most successful cow families we have ever worked with. As with all the 0665 calves, she came easy out of a first calf heifer with a 79 BW, posted a 525 WW and 972 YW and has the unmistakable style and balance associated with her namesake. She excelled on scan day as well with 0.21 BF, 11.3 REA, and 6.04 IMF stat line. She is another huge pelvis female measuring with 274 cm2. Her now 3 year old dam is quickly establishing herself as a front pasture cow. She maintains her flesh, bred back on her first AI, during her first lactation raising P8C, and has weaned a spectacular Contender heifer calf to watch for later this fall.

Maybe the softest middled, deepest flanked heifer in the pasture. Compliment her body style with ideal flex and cushion off of both ends and she is a special brood cow in waiting. Fusion was a son of the great Frazier sire and the original Leading Lady cow brought here in 1996. He sired great body width and carcass value here and F7C adds to that legacy posting a 922 YW and 7.60 IMF on a 5.3 frame. We are reluctant to offer her at $3500 knowing the profit potential in her blood, however it is also very important to us to watch HAHN cattle do well for others, and to be perfectly honest, we just like to get cattle sold. This is the toughest heifer in the entire group to slot. She is easily the most impressive in terms of phenotype and we are very excited about her pedigree as she is a blend of the three best sires (No Limits, Contender, and 0665) and one of the best cows (Alicia 4105) of the last twenty years on this farm. However, she is only a 7/8 blood Shorthorn, the rest Red Angus and Simmental. We don’t feel this matters because if you breed her purebred, the offspring will be 15/16 registerable. She is a big time performer at 753 WW, 1059 YW, 13.3 REA, and 5.52 IMF. There are big time options available with cattle like this. Take advantage here. BRED TO WAUKARU BENCHMARK 4014 DUE 1-10-2017
We were blessed with a number of daughters of the Leading Lady clan last spring and are proud to offer this near genetic full sister to Glide. Solid red, moderate in her kind, yet stout bodied, this heifer is a great image of commercially designed Shorthorn replacement females. However, her pedigree projects her to be much more. The limited number of 0665 daughters we have been able to retain have shown to be easy fleshing, maternal machines with vastly improved udders from the previous generation. That may be a tick more difficult here as P25C’s dam is a soggy made, big uddered cow with small-refined teats.

This bred is a 3/4 sister to a top selling heifer from last fall that sold to Leveldale Shorthorns. Similar to our other Frazier daughters, F23C is moderate, stoutly constructed, and has an eye appealing, feminine look. She is an absolute curve bender in nearly all measures posting a 70 BW, 599 WW, 943 YW, 0.31 BF, 11.5 REA, and ridiculous 7.60 IMF. We feel her mother is one of the best cows we’ve had the honor of working with from Dr. Ediger as she is super feminine designed, always in great rig, and has an ideal udder.

The third and last Elizabeth in the catalog, but certainly not least. This super attractive Chosen daughter made the trip to Denver last year as an alternate in our Reserve Champion Pen of Three heifers. She is a long, flexible, maternally made heifer with two great cow families backing her up, the Elizabeths and Alicias. Her mother was a first calf granddaughter of the impressive and popular Saskvalley Bonanza. She developed at a high level hitting the scales at 750 WW and 1037 YW while scanning with an impressive 12.1 REA and 5.59 IMF. BRED TO WAUKARU BENCHMARK 4014 DUE 4-6-2017
We flushed a THF granddaughter of Improver 57 years ago to Contender just in case and we put a couple in and got this attractive genetic goldmine. This Leading Lady possesses the refined front 1/3, flat shoulder, and clean chest floor that is so in vogue. We like her maternal value, carcass data, and skeletal integrity much more. She scanned 11.2 REA and 7.39 IMF, her mother produced here until after her 12th birthday and a 5 year old full sister to C56C is working in the herd and produced the P25C heifer, also in this offering. The Fantasy cows are simply the most performance oriented, long lived females on the place. This is without question one of the best we have ever raised at this stage of her development. Easily one of the widest built, most massive bodied females in the entire offering. She has been at the head of her contemporary group at both weigh periods, pressing the scale with 855 WW and 1150 YW. She has maintained a sound frame, balance, and a maternal look. She scanned an unbelievable 0.27 BF, 13.5 REA, and 7.24 IMF. Her mother is huge middled, sound, and milks like a Holstein. We feel P49C has the potential to be a big time producer from day one. BRED TO WAUKARU BENCHMARK 4014 DUE 1-19-2017
As Hahn Star F57C developed, we have regretted selling Fusion. This daughter is truly one of the very best breds on the place. She is incredibly feminine, attractive, and sound while being one of the softest centered and stoutest. Her data is off the charts, tallying 70 BW, 742 WW, 1023 YW, 13.0 REA, and 7.09 IMF. Her mother is a special Prestige 8U daughter from Lovings that is as easy fleshing, sound and great uddered as you could find. F57C’s dam is young and we were able to retain a Contender half sister last year so although we would rather calve her out ourselves, we will offer this big time breeding piece to you.

Although each grouping is listed in chronological order, it is always good to end on a high note. This red neck roan daughter of Contender and the Roan Gem NL4204 super cow is a sale attraction. She is the latest installment of the Roan Gem legacy displaying the unmistakable bone, muscle, and performance packed on a smooth, sound, eye appealing frame. She is a standout in many measurables highlighted by 11.1 REA and 7.39 IMF. Her dam has weaned a special Cognac heifer calf and we are expecting full sibs next spring, so invest with confidence. We would. BRED TO WAUKARU BENCHMARK 4014 DUE 1-11-2017
C60C is truly a feature. Very rarely will we offer Contender bred females as we feel they are some of our best cows. Even more rare is the chance to purchase a Wynonna female. This heifer’s royal heritage is supported by her special phenotype and performance value. We have used two full sibs as herd sires and another full sib is a young standout cow in the herd. We feel the pedigree, carcass merit, and maternal value in C60C is among the very best. Her performance is highlighted in her 682 WW, 1150 YW, and ultrasound stat line of 0.28 BF, 13.4 REA, and 6.73 IMF. Her mother is 12 so we shouldn’t let this one walk away, but we are opening the gate for you to have access to every bred heifer on the farm. Don’t let this opportunity pass you by. The comment in the show barn all summer is that this one will never have a bad day. Near perfect structure, rib design, and profile. Couple that with her beautiful roan hair coat and gentle disposition and this one is destined for a junior’s show barn.
If we are to feed one, this Contender will be it. The Elizabeth females seem to always find their way to the top of the group and C11D is no different. Great headed, sleek necked, flat shouldered, with rib shape and a skeleton to continue to develop into the sound, powered up bred show heifer that wins. Braden would love his first year in 4H and junior shows to include this heifer.
