AI safe to Muridale Jaxson. Due 1-11-2019. 281Z has been one of our most consistent producers of quality, high performing offspring. Her first calf was a Taylor Made heifer, that was one our best for our 2015 sale. She then produced a Ringo bull, that was a member of our 2017 National Western Champion Pen of 5 and he now serves as a herd sire for Fusion Cattle here in IL. This year she had split sex twins by Leveldale Boardwalk, however the bull is being retained and I think he is one of our best this year! She has a weaning ratio of 115 on 3 progeny and ranks in the top 3% of the breed for WW, YW and Milk! She is a definite money maker! Owned with Kent Velde

Due to calve 9-18-2018 to Leveldale Reload. 110Y is an absolute power cow! She is extremely deep and broody, yet still attractive and feminine through her front end. Her most notable progeny would be Leveldale North Face, the current herd sire at Schrag’s in South Dakota. We flushed her last year and made full sibs to him, so now we are letting her go, to go work for someone else. I think her calf at side by Leveldale Reload could be something special!

Dear Shorthorn Enthusiasts, It is that time of year again where we get ready for the Leveldale INVESTMENT Sale and we could not be more thrilled with the cattle we plan to make available to you. We proudly offer these females as we delve into the next generation of Shorthorns at BSG. These females are young and offer the most cutting-edge, maternal genetics with an extra punch of power from the finest genetics we can source. Folks have come to expect our very best from our bred heifer offering at the Leveldale Investment Sale, and we are happy to compare them to any offering you will find. Some sell bred to Saskvalley Banjo 268B, a stunning son of Ultra 12J and the famous Maggie 73R--- Banjo’s offspring are in high demand to those who see the calves. Just ask our friend, Wes Wise. The legacy of Thermal Energy, the sire of some of these bred heifers, continues to prove exciting world-wide. The oldest progeny are in Australia and they are topping bulls sales for nearly $40,000 and are winning major shows, like the Royal Adelaide Show last month. He is dynamic and universal. Look closely at his daughters. To prove our confidence, the females not sired by Thermal Energy sell with 2 units of Muridale Thermal Energy 15A semen. Thank you for your interest in BSG. We look forward to seeing you at the sale. Stop by or call anytime. Sincerely, J. Phillip Bowman & Family Phillip & Linda Bowman

Bred to JSF Gauge 137W. Due February 18, 2019. It is really hard to let these Taylor Made daughters go. Females sired by this living legend are so productive and are such beautiful, gentle cows. The Dream Of Me cow family stems from the original Mayflower lineage that was so successfully cultivated by the legendary Harvey Fulton “Kenmar” herd of Manitoba, Canada. It was when they were reborn in western Texas that this tribe took on the Dream Of Me name. When you see any female from this line, you’ll understand why this new generation name is so fitting. A breed great for maternal traits- check them out!

Our meals will feature leveldale beef prepared by echo valley meats

Echo Valley Meats made a 2 time appearance on ABC’s show “Shark Tank”. During his first appearance, he flew to Los Angeles, California, gave his “Pitch,” and impressed producers enough to make it to the show. Though he didn’t secure a deal, the “Sharks” loved his meat products, authenticity, and enthusiasm. In 2014 Dave received the invitation for a return visit to “Shark Tank,” where he had the rare opportunity for a second pitch to the Sharks during Season 6. This time he secured a deal with billionaire investor, Mark Cuban, making Dave the only entrepreneur in the show’s history to pitch the same business successfully the second time around. Echo Valley Meats is a growing success because of common sense judgment, hard work, leading by example, giving back to the community and above all, finding passion in life.
