The Season Finale 13th Annual Female Sale Saturday, December 19th, 2015

1:00 P.M. EST. | Hillsboro, Ohio Selling 80 Head of Seedstock Bred and Built for Club Calf Production

PRODUCER’S SALE BARN 976 W. MAIN ST. HILLSBORO, OHIO 45133 Sale Barn: 937-393-3424

Welcome...

On behalf of our sale hosts and the sale partners, allow me to welcome you to The 13th Annual Season Finale. The programs involved are some of the most respected and progressive in the mid-west. The Kopp program has long been recognized for power club calf females and as a pioneer in club calf pasture sales. No one knows the value of a good female more that Tim Schwab. For twenty plus years Campbellco has been competitive at the highest level, in the 90’s Dave and Jody were breeding and exhibiting National Champions and today their son Blake carries on the family tradition and Kayla has become one of the nations premier cattle photographers. The Brian Cummings family has been quietly and constantly producing top quality show prospects and AI promotional bulls for the last ten years. The latest addition in Larry Simmons Farms looks to be a good one. Last years cattle were top notch and this years set looks even better. Larry is investing in some of the most elite genetics on the market today and this can’t help but increase the quality offered to you. There is a considerable amount of quality in the bred heifer portion of the sale with a good percentage of then being a touch older and more mature and most of them being maternally bred. The cows are big and burly and showing a good future with bellies full of profit to be made as most all are bred to the hottest bulls in the industry! With the craziness that surrounds us all during the Holiday season we really do appreciate you taking the time to check out our offering and we look forward to seeing you on the 19th. Videos on many of the lots will be on-line the week leading up to the sale and we offer absentee bidding for those who can not make it. You may either choose to bid by phone though one of the sale staff or sale partners or you may utilize the web-casting service provided by Liveauctions.tv. Feel free to contact myself or any of the sale members to visit about the offering and assist with your purchasing decisions, we can arrange affordable trucking across the U.S. and have a long track record of satisfied customers. As always if I can assist you in any way please feel free to contact me. 937-533-0160.

Friends And Cattlemen, We would like to welcome everyone to the 13th annual Season Finale Sale, and we appreciate you taking the time out of your busy schedule to evaluate our cattle. We are very humbled and blessed by the many friends we have made and the countless memories in the last 13 years. Every year we get reports back from past customers about the animals they have purchased and the calves they have produced. From show champions, to high sellers, and we are so proud of your success. we put a lot of time and effort into making sure that we offer you the best cattle bred to the top bulls in the country. Most of the cattle in the sale have been home raised, out of cows that have proven themselves year after year. We feel strongly that these cattle will do the same for your herd. We don’t put cattle in our sale that we wouldn’t gladly keep for ourselves. Many are very hard to let go since they are in the prime of their lives. When the hammer falls, you own 100 percent of the animal no embryos or flushes retained. We would rather buy them from you at a later date, your future success is our success. The set of cattle in this years sale is a very solid set from beginning to end and has enough diversity to offer something for everyone. We have a great group to work with for the sale and not only did they bring geneticly superior cattle, they have the same integrity and customer service as everyone else in the sale and are commited to the composite club calf industry We invite you to schedule a farm visit to view the cattle prior to the sale. Our doors are always open and we would be happy to show you around. Please let us know if we can be of any help to you either before, during or after the sale. Thanks again for your time and support and hope to see you on Dec.. 19th! Happy Holidays, Kopp Land and Livestock Tim Schwab

4131

SIRE: MSU REVOLUTION (HEREFORD) DAM: HOWSER COW (SUNSEEKER)

We bought this bred heifer as a calf from the Howser Family, Georgetown, Ohio and she has been a joy ever since we bought her. She is an easy going heifer that has a pedigree that is a breath of fresh air. The Revolution bull is a Polled Hereford bull from Michigan State. 4131 has a smooth shoulder is good jointed and has plenty of muscle shape to have those high dollar steers. She has more bone and hair than her pedigree reads. She is a heifer that had a huge pelvic measurement which should mean extra room for calving. The white on her face is an extra bonus. She is bred to No Worries, I would expect a nice baldy calf in February. • AI’ed: No Worries on 5/4 • P.E.: Cash Daddy (Flushmate to Daddy’s Money) 6/15 to 7/30 • Ultrasounded safe to AI date •Approx due date 2/10 • PM: 202 cm2

These Uno Mas heifers are making great cows and this bred heifer is no exception. Made like a donor cow prospect should be, structurally correct, perfectly balanced from head to tail and so sound footed you just love to watch her move. Your future mating decisions are wide open since she is free of all genetic defects by pedigree and is not related to any of the popular club calf bulls. Be sure to check out her pelvic measurement it is the largest in the entire sale. She is bred to the maternal legend OCC Doc, if she has a heifer give us a call, we would be interested in buying this calf back. • AI’ed: OCC Doc 4/16 • P.E.: Summit 5/25 to 7/24 • Ultrasounded safe to AI date •Approx due date 1/23 • PM: 255 cm2

We could write a book about how good she is but maybe more importantly we should talk about how much money the old 619 cow has made for us and many others. Miss Campbell 762 sold in the 2014 Season Finale for $4000 to Brian Burgess, Virginia. He and his wife couldn’t have been happier with the results. Kevin Campbell told us he was wanting to cut back his cow numbers so we decided to sell his best first. She is bred to Drivin 80, who has been a big hit this fall in calf sales. We sold this female last fall to Matt Gellespie from Ohio as a show heifer and he showed her a hand full of times always standing near the top of the class. He decided to sell her and go a different direction, and since I always liked this female I told him he could put her in the Season Finale Sale. She looks like I thought she would, rugged in her design, stout boned and plenty of power and muscle to raise a great steer. Everyone I talk to says these Immortals are making great cows, especially when they have a little Simmental in them. We sold an Immortal bred heifer in last years sale and she brought $5750, I think this one is better. • AI’ed: Jessie James on 7/1 • P.E.: None • Ultrasounded safe to AI date •Approx due date 4/9

Another one of our photogenic ad girls, this baldy female will not be hard to find on sale day. She is a little different than most MAB females, a little softer in her foot work, a little softer from the side and a little softer about her muscle pattern. Her mother produced the high selling steer in our 2015 fall calf sale and he was also sired by MAB. This is a great cow family, her mother produces, her grandmother produced and her great grandmother produced. I would expect a long productive life, with many high sellers out of Miss Kopp 452. A halfblood Simmental that we purchased out of Kentucky that is going to make an impressive mature cow. We have never bred any cows to Uno Mas but now that I have been around 4151 and 4153 I think I am going to breed a few that way. They are the real cowman’s kind of females. Miss Kopp 4153 is rugged in her make up yet feminine in her front 1/3. She is due early February to the Angus Bull SAV Brilliance. If you get a heifer here is another one we would love to have a shot at.

Another heifer from a cow that I bought out of the RA Brown dispersal. She is big bodied with plenty of rib shape and as sound as you would expect from an Angus bred heifer. This was the first year that I tried the Go to Sleep bull, he is a Total Solution/Cigar bull that had a 55 pound birth weight. Miss Kopp 467 had an above average pelvic measurement and has plenty of width over her top.

They all have strong tops and level from hooks to pins and have that good maternal look from the side. The 1325 heifer is the only one that is not AI bred but she is with our new clean up bull JPF Code Black 54B AKA “Cash Daddy.” pictured below. SIRE: GOET I-80 DAM: S.O.S. X DUFF ANGUS Don’t miss your chance to get in on our 244 donor! We couldn’t be more excited about how this young female is going to take our program to new heights. We are selling your choice of two of the three following matings. This mating will produce full sibs to Sweet Baby James, Lautners #1 calving ease bull of 2015 and #2 selling calving ease bull of all Lautner’s Farms sires for 2015. He was second only to I80. If that doesn’t say something about Sweet Baby James from one of the leading semen sellers for multiple decades, then I don’t know what will. The 2nd choice is a mating from a bull who needs no introduction, Monopoly; a bull who has dominated the show ring in both the market & breeding rings for almost the last decade. It takes no guessing to know this mating will be flat awesome. The 3rd is to a new bull that many felt could change the game, Second 2 None. We like this mating because of the female power on both sides, but especially because of line breeding-the great Miley 80T on both sides of this matings pedigree. All offspring will be registered as maintainers. All eggs are grade #1’s and are available for pick up sale day.
