2024/2025 COME AND PLAY
We’ve got weekly classes for students of all ages, regular masterclasses on backstage skills, a number of productions presented annually in the Round and the McCarthy made by and with young theatre makers, as well as a brand new space for creative young people to develop their ideas.
If you’ve passed the building recently you might have seen the former OutReach Rooms on Northway undergoing some refurbishment. In September 2024 we will open a new dedicated space for Youth and Community groups called The Meeting Point. It’s a small meeting space with a kitchen/bar, where a group can get together to talk, create or consult on their ideas over a cuppa and a biscuit.
If you’re a Young Creative looking for a space to meet then get in touch via engagement@sjt.uk.com - if you’re charging people to attend your activity, we’ll ask you for a small donation, if not then its FREE!
Don’t forget our annual Auditions in September - go online to register your place for the Drama Club, Youth Theatre, and Young Company.
If there’s any places still available in the Drama Club and Youth Theatre you can audition at the start of spring and summer term, however the Young Company only accepts new members once a year.
Read on to find out how you can get involved and get in touch!
