CLAIR GLEASON MOST INSPIRATIONAL PLAYER The Clair Gleason Most Inspirational Player Award is dedicated to the memory of Sterling College Athletic Director Clair L. Gleason. He was instrumental in the creation and administration of the Sterling Invitational. 1988 1989 1990 1990 1991 1992 1992 1993 1994 1995 1996

In a time when much has been focused upon tragedies and abuses in athletics, the life of Clair Gleason serves as an example of what an approach to athletics should look like. This award recognizes a basketball player who, by attitude, best exemplifies a particular gift of inspiration. The award winner’s name will be engraved on a traveling plaque and will be displayed at his school for one year.
