Continuous Professional Development Courses
Welcome to your Autodesk Training Brochure In today’s economic climate, we understand organisations are under constant pressure to evaluate every facet of their business in order to save money and improve output, whilst maintaining efficiency and personnel harmony. Training is often one of the first lines removed from the annual budget when companies are seeking to dramatically reduce costs, when this infact can have a detrimental effect on the output delivered by your design or project team. Although your staff may have received Autodesk training at some point in their career, it is advised to be completed after every new release as new productivity enhancing features and functionality are continually being added to the software to streamline your current procedures and help produce better quality products in less time. Structured training not only ensures your team have the required knowledge and confidence to best use the software to enhance performance, it will ensure you are seeing a clear return on investment from your software purchase thereby improving profitability. As an Autodesk Authorised Training Centre and Gold Partner, Quadra Solutions provide Autodesk software and training solutions to manufacturing customers throughout the UK. We offer training on all software within Building Design Suites, Product Design Suites and Factory Design Suites with various levels to suit those with no experience through to those highly proficient in use.
All of our courses are delivered by experienced, specialist trainers who are consistently monitored and tested by Autodesk to ensure their own skill-sets and knowledge is of the appropriate level to deliver training on their behalf. Training is delivered on the latest releases from Autodesk, ensuring delegates receive the most up-to-date information possible. Throughout the sessions, hands-on exercises representing real-world design scenarios are included to maximise on learning opportunities.
Training for All Courses listed throughout this brochure are broken down into user competencies and can be identified as follows:
Level 1
For those with limited or no experience with the software.
Level 2
For those who have completed stage one or have worked with the software.
Level 3
For the proficient and experienced user.
Bespoke Training
Training Needs Analysis: This allows us to establish exactly what training is required and create a bespoke development programme, ensuring your training needs are focussed on your company objectives. CAD Mentoring: Take one of our CAD experts to help with a specific project or get them to review the way you are working.
This brochure is designed to showcase our specialist and most popular courses, but you will also find information on our other training services including standard or bespoke both of which can be delivered at our Lancashire based training centre or onsite at your premises.
We offer group discounts on all course bookings On completion of a course, all delegates will receive an Autodesk authorised certificate of achievement.
Autodesk Certification As an Autodesk Authorised Training Centre, we have the ability to validate skills and knowledge through Autodesk certification. This means software users can gain an industry recognised credential that proves skill level and validates learning. You will then have the authority to use the Autodesk certified logo on marketing literature and company stationary which will improve competitiveness and you will automatically be added to the Autodesk database of certified professionals.
Why Invest in Training? A commitment to professional development can: Maximise return on software investment by ensuring all the tools and features are embraced Reduce staff turnover and improve motivation and morale Increase productivity and provide staff with the knowledge to be able to work cross-functionally in times of absences or demands Give a competitive advantage and become more knowledgeable about the system you design your products with
…all of which contribute to an increase in profitability.

No Need for Training? Think again! Often businesses see training as an unnecessary additional cost and dismiss the idea before truly understanding the real benefits it can bring to both employee and employer. “Twelve hours of formal training equates to 72 hours of self-paced training” – Gartner Group. This means users can spend up to six times as long trying to work the program as it will take for Quadra to train them. You may think following an upgrade there is no budget left for training. Another Gartner Group study shows that “wasted end-user time, due to a lack of training, accounted for the biggest piece of the software spending pie.” IDC found that without training users were only actually using 13% of the features in their software tools. This means the remaining 87% is a massive waste of investment opportunity. Often upgrading software can be daunting for a number of reasons; familiarity, confidence, time and cost. Training can increase confidence and decreases anxiety, provides a point of contact for any future struggles, add ease to a job function and enhance the level of job satisfaction whilst reducing stress levels.

Autodesk Certification and Training Did you know you can gain a professional Autodesk qualification? Autodesk Certification is designed to provide evidence of your skills and knowledge, improve productivity and enhance credibility for you and your employer.
Professional The professional exam is a performance based test. The exam is a combination of 35 questions that require you to create or modify a data file then type your answer into an input box. In order to become Autodesk certified, you will need to sit an exam at our Lancashire based training centre. Certification is awarded to students who complete the exam with the required pass rate in which a digital certificate will be emailed to the student upon completion. Individual feedback is available to those who do not pass the exam and we will work closely with you to ensure you receive the required level of support to ensure you pass next time.
“Excellent course, well paced and tailored to suit our requirements and skill-set.
Benefits to the organisation: Certification tests whether you are getting the most out of your software investment The software user will withhold a professional credential that can majorly increase competitiveness You will be provided with an Autodesk certified logo which can be used on your marketing literature and company stationary as evidence of your companies in house skill-set You will be added to the publicly available Autodesk certified users database where your company details may be searched by potential customers Autodesk Certification should be completed within 3 months of an Autodesk training course being delivered to users. This not only validates and provides evidence of an employee’s enhanced skill-set, it tests that users are embracing the knowledge delivered within the classroom and identifies whether there is a need for additional training that may increase productivity and reduce wasted time. We are not a training provider, we are your training partner and therefore we want to ensure you are maximising on the potential of the training courses and understanding all of the software features. We do not want our customers to spend money on training courses if they are not seeing a return on investment.
