KINGSTON - 4 BEDROOM PRIVATE SANCTUARY

Introducing 11 Laurent Place Kingston - Your very own Private Sanctuary

Located in the popular suburb of Kingston 11 Laurent Place is a home built in the 1980’s in a quiet cul-de-sac and down a private right of way. Designed to maximise the benefits of the North facing views towards the Harbour and Mt Victoria. The home is set over three levels with the living area on the upper level, firstly for easy level access from the double carport and secondly to maximise the sun and views towards the city. This level has a generous entrance hall to greet visitors and a guest bathroom with shower and the washroom facilities. The living area extends the full width of the house with decking on the northern side. The open plan living and dining room has the natural warmth of all day sun however for those cool winter nights a gas heater warms the entire area within minutes. An open archway connects through to the well appointed and functional kitchen.

Interior Colours by Peter Reynolds Interiors

The interior colours were designed by Peter Reynolds interiors to enhance the natural warmth and comfort of the home and to create a style to enrich the open plan layout of the room. The kitchen is designed around electric appliances with a free standing electric Atlas Stove, rangehood, Fisher & Paykel dishwasher and an insinkerator. Good bench space and storage cupboards make this a workable and efficient family kitchen. A large pantry also compliments the many modern and convenient features of the kitchen..

KINGSTON - 4 BEDROOM PRIVATE SANCTUARY

The middle level of the home offers three double bedrooms with built in wardrobes.

Three double bedrooms on the middle level allow for family privacy on those late start mornings. The master bedroom opens to a small deck to enjoy your morning coffee or that quiet private time in the afternoon to finish reading that favourite book. The walls in all the bedrooms are painted and have matching drapes and wall shelves in the third bedroom. The family bathroom (second bathroom) is located on this level with a shower above the bath a good sized vanity and a separate toilet.

KINGSTON - 4 BEDROOM PRIVATE SANCTUARY

The bonus of a conservatory with family sized spa pool.

A real bonus is the spa pool and conservatory on the western side of the house. A large sized spa pool allows you to stretch out and to relax at the end of the working day or relax the muscles after a hard day on the sports field or gym. The spa pool is located down the first flight of stairs from the upper level but still private and away from the bedrooms. The conservatory is split level allowing you to relax on the sunny lower level enjoying the sun while sheltered from Wellington’s winds.

KINGSTON - 4 BEDROOM PRIVATE SANCTUARY

Fourth bedroom, sleep out or a possible home office with a separate entrance

The fourth bedroom with ensuite (third bathroom) is located on the lower third level and can be accessed either through the conservatory and along the short deck and down a few stairs or alternatively from the eastern side of the house immediately beside the carport. This room would be ideal as a fourth bedroom for a member of an extended family or teenagers wanting some independence from the family routines. It would also work well as a home office with the ability for visitors to access this room via the alternative entrance and it is ideal for secure pick up & delivers to the office.

KINGSTON - 4 BEDROOM PRIVATE SANCTUARY

Your private sanctuary and deck area completely surrounded by trees and bird songs.

The deck area is located down a timber staircase and offers a private and secure sanctuary from neighbours and city life. Enjoy, relax and be entertained by the songs of nature that are attracted to the trees and flowers. Alternatively enjoy a family barbeque or entertain your friends on a warm summer evening on this large timber deck. This area could also be a natural adventure play ground for the children. For them to experience natures’ bird songs and the challenges of building their very own fort or tree hut.

In January 1996 Steve was appointed Sales Manager for Challenge Realty’s Oriental Bay Office. Within eighteen months Steve took the office into the top ten in the Challenge Realty Group. Steve went on to purchase three Wellington offices in October 1997.

AWARDS RECEIVED:

Over the next seven years Steve was instrumental in growing the company from a sales team of twelve to a team of sixty eight sales people with four thousand house sales worth over 1.5 billion dollars!

2010: RE/MAX New Zealand ‘Manager of the Year’ Re/max ‘Platinum Club’ Award

Shortly after Steve sold the business he was approached by Ray White Australia and asked to restructure their International business model so as to increase their competitiveness with RE/MAX. At the time over three hundred sales people, in Queensland alone, had left Ray White to join RE/MAX. In the next few years Steve played a huge part in turning around the fortunes of Ray White and increasing the number of sales people by over 40%. Steve returned to New Zealand in November 2005 and took up the role of Director of Operations for RE/MAX New Zealand. The role was to assist broker owners and top sales people at new and established RE/MAX offices, to implement their business plans and maintain the momentum of the fastest growing real estate company - the RE/MAX brand, in New Zealand and Australia. In 2006 Steve attended a wide range of leading international industry training seminars in Denver, Chicago and Brisbane. After more than four hundred flights during his three years in his corporate career Steve decided to resign and return to what he loves doing most - selling real estate in Wellington. Steve’s extensive experience in Real Estate spanning local, national and international markets is a huge benefit to his clients. This and his innovative and unique marketing techniques is ‘Setting a New BENCHMARQUE in Wellington Real Estate’. © Steve Fejos 2011

Testimonial: Gary Ahearn, Regional Director of RE/MAX Australasia says, “Steve brings together a vast experience and understanding of all facets of real estate. Having been very successful in sales in the mid 1990’s Steve really made his mark on real estate by establishing a very credible and strong company under the L.J.Hooker brand. The standards he set are still the standards some offices are striving to attain. However it is Steve’s ability to relate to all people in the community which is his outstanding strength.”
