Almost 12 years ago we lost our beautiful daughter, Jodi Rae, to cancer. She blessed us with the wonderful gift of her daughter, Emily Jayne, who was 1½ years old at the time. We adopted her, and I chose to become a stay-at-home momma again, though I missed being around people.
