HOLLA 0 1
HOLLA Bring People Together Designed for a busy lifestyle, Holla enhances communication between members of a group. This app includes location pins and detailed event invitations to inform those involved quickly and efficiently.
HOLLA 0 2
PROBLEM After noticing difficulties with meeting planning/organization, I saw an opportunity to fix a recurring issue.
IDEATION In order to organize my thoughts and explore many different concepts, I began with a mind map. This helped me to further understand and percieve what I believed the app could achieve for users. I then developed a storyboard to think through and enhance the user experience and overall design.

HOLLA 05
PROTOTYPING In order to begin prototyping, I completed over 100 lessons in Apple’s iOS coding language. This taught me the fundamentals of mobile architecture and enviornments. The code provided is what drives the communication between Google Firebase servers for authentication as well as general UI components.
AURA 01
AURA Go To Your Happy Place A wearable meant to reduce anxiety caused by contemplation of imminent responsibilities. A group project in which a single groupmate and I were tasked with approaching 4 sophomore students from across different disciplines and finding a problem in their lives.
AURA 02
RESEARCH After creating journey maps, conducting multiple extensive interviews, and walking through daily timelines, my groupmate and I found a pattern in the rise/fall of anxiety levels in our sophomore students.
KEY INSIGHTS
• User’s days began with a feeling of being overwhelmed • Anxiety Increased Before Imminent Responsibilities • Users strive to live healthy life styles
AURA 03
GAP ANALYSIS Comparing products by their mindful nature and overall aesthetics, we found there is opportunity for a wearable that improves upon the user’s mundul behaviors and reduces distractions from a focused mindset.
DESIGN CRITERIA Through our research we found opportunity for a well designed conscious and minimal product for sophomore students. A calm experience for them to become more mindful and relaxed. By including insights from our research including meditative patterns, gentle edges, and calm colors we began to develop gentle, concepts. Patterns have proven to provide a sense of satisfaction to the user., We wanted to intsill patterns in not only aesthetics, but also how/when the product is used
AURA 04
IDEATION A large quantity of ideas were generated in order to explore many options to find solutions to our problem. Some ideas incorperated techniques of acupuncture while others targeted less physically demanding experiences
AURA 05
ITERATION 5
First model that allowed testing of symmographic design in a three-dimensional object
BAND ITERATION 1
Silicone band made from 3D printed mold
ITERATION 3
2D symmographic rings were used to fully understand the nature of the technique as well as interpret scaling and 3D transl
SKETCH MODELS
Physical mock-ups were necessary to explore functionality of the rotating bezel, symmographic implementation in a 3D form, and physical ergonomics. Solution: 3D printed
lation
FINAL MODEL
Demonstrated expected surface finish and functionality for final product
BAND ITERATION 2
Tested methods of dying material and embedding magnetic clasps
FUNCTIONAL
MODEL
Helped to observe how the rotation of the dial effected the tension and postioning of the strings

STUDIO 0 1
LUX Lamp Shade Project In order to aquire an extensive understanding of tools and manufacturing processes, I was tasked with designing and manufacturing a polystyrene lamp shade
STUDIO 0 2
IDEATION Rapid Concept Developement Limited by the assigned manufacturing process, I began to sketch different forms in order to explore the construction boundaries.
STUDIO 0 3
THE MOLD Beginning with an 8ft board and ending with a finished mold, I completed comprehensive training on numerous machines/finishing processes. The mold was then prepped for vacuum forming.
STUDIO 04
VACUUM FORMING Using a sheet of polystyrene, two halves of the lamp shade were vacuum formed and trimmed
STUDIO 05
F I N I SH I N G The two halves were cemented together, sanded, filled with bondo, primed, and painted. Throughout this finishing process, I aquired a meticulous comprehension of what it takes to achieve a prestine surface finish.
STUDIO 06
LIGHTING Lighting housing was then installed, thus completing the project. Overall, this project assisted my 3D modeling/prototyping abilites as well as hand crafting competence.

MIRRO 0 1
MIRRO Change The Way You View Yourself Mirro is a smart mirror that helps to aid the process of getting prepared for commitments each day. By conveniently displaying vital information including schedules, weather forecasts, and news headlines. Mirro allows you to focus your attention on one task at a time.
MIRRO 0 3
IDEATION Through the use of sticky notes and sketching I began to develop concepts for manufacturing, user interface design, features, and materials.
MIRRO 0 4
IDEATION By utiilizing an extensive mind map I generated an abundant amount of ideas to refine for the user interface, physical form, coding process, etc.
MIRRO 0 5
PROTOTYPING Physical mockups were necessary in order to fully understand light/image translation through the mirrored glass, product construction, and enclosure manufacturing. Numerous iterations were constructed to test feasibility and user experience.
MIRRO 0 6
FUNCTIONAL PROTOYPE Open-source code (utilizing services similar to those identified during ideation) provided on GitHub was tweaked to produce a custom user interface and expedite the prototyping process. A wooden enclosure was built in order to enhance maneuverability during the testing process.
MIRRO 0 7 6
FUNCTIONAL PROTOYPE Extensive testing was completed in order to understand improvements to be made to the first iteration of software and hardware
