I believe that process is incredibly important in informing the final solution to any design brief. Sketchbooks are a great place to collate and develop initial concepts and sketches. 'Analog & Digital' is the name of the my latest sketchbook. It is A5 portrait and contains 92 pages of 140gsm paper. The name originates from one of the many stickers which I have collected here. I feel it perfectly describes the process I take when creating a solution to a brief. This particular sketchbook was started in 2008 and was recently completed in 2011. It contains sketches for clients including: Working Class Mag, Lost Property of London, Sony Ericsson, Resourcing Circle, Millner & Fitter, Arcadia, Curb Appeal and Joker. It also contains all my notes taken whilst studying under Milton Glaser at the School of Visual Arts in New York. During this time I also attended lectures with Louise Fili, Jimmy McMullan, Stefan Sagmeister and Duane Michaels; the notes of which can also be found here.
