A Stylish User-friendly Instrument Panel The Baleno instrument panel follows the low and wide design concept of the exterior, creating an expansive interior space. The innovative design of the instrument panel centre, with easily operated audio and automatic air conditioning controls, accentuates the cockpit.
Advanced Multi-information Display When you slip into the driver’s seat, the first thing you notice is the information display at the centre of the instrument cluster, which gives a clear picture of the state of the car. This advanced multi-information display has a 4.2-inch colour LCD screen (GLX) that intuitively conveys a range of information such as fuel efficiency, engine output, average vehicle speed and driving results. The high-contrast LCD panel ensures excellent legibility of the display. The system plays radio (AM/FM), CDs as well as USBs. The audio system features six speakers as standard, with wireless connectivity via Bluetooth®* (GLX and GL) for smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices.
The automatic air conditioner (GLX) has a unique circular display, with a high-contrast LCD panel. GL and GA grades come with a manual air conditioner.
A cruise control system (GLX) boosts convenience, especially when cruising on highways, by keeping the car moving at a constant, driver-set speed without requiring the driver to keep pressing the accelerator pedal.

Essential Safety Features for Greater Peace of Mind Knowing you're well protected can make driving more fun. For greater peace of mind, the Baleno is equipped with preventive and collision safety features designed to mitigate injury in the unlikely event of an accident. These features include an Anti-lock Brake System, a energy-absorbing body, and multiple airbags, as well as protection for pedestrians.

In an emergency braking, an Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) keeps tyres from locking up and adds stability to evasive maneuvers. In addition, a braking assistance function augments stopping power, while Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) helps maintain control by sending the optimum amount of force to the front and rear wheels.
To mitigate the extent of injuries in the event that the car comes into contact with a pedestrian, the Baleno’s bonnet panel, cowl top, wipers, and bumpers are built to absorb impacts.
ABS is a device that assists the driver during braking. It does not eliminate the need to drive safely, for example by slowing down when approaching a corner.
