Mural

Stairway to Peace Parent volunteers Mrs. O’Hanlon, Mrs. LaSalla, Mrs. Kephart, Mrs. Kaiserman, Mrs. Martinus, helped paint a mural on the playground called “Stairway to Peace”. The mural is designed to help students resolve conflicts on the playground. School Social Worker Michele Vincent received the Lowe’s Educational Grant to fund this program. She worked collaboratively with parent volunteer and artist Christine Henry to come up with a design that would be meaningful yet functional for the students to use. The students will be trained on how to utilize the mural during a special lunch presentation held in the cafeteria in early May.
