You will need to access your Parent Online Account to accept our offer of enrollment and complete the required contracts. • Log into your Parent Online Account at sths.myschoolapp.com. • If you forgot your password or need to create your Parent Online Account, click the link on the login screen that says “Forgot login or First time logging in?” • After logging in, select your son’s name in the top banner, select the “Decision” tab and click “Let us know your decision.” • After accepting, click the banner at the top of the page which says, “You have: 1 Contract(s) to Accept.”

• Find the “Enrollment for 2018 – 2019” contract located under “Files & Forms” and click “Continue.”

• Follow the prompts and complete the steps for “Enrollment,” “Magnus Health,” “Tuition” and “Review.”

• Upon completion you will receive a confirmation email.

Set up your Smart Tuition account in order to pay your $550 Registration Fee and $500 Tuition Deposit. St. Thomas High School partners with Smart Tuition for the processing and collection of tuition and fees. Upon the announcement of acceptance to St. Thomas High School you will receive an email from Smart Tuition Customer Service. This email will be sent to all parent contacts listed in your Admissions application. In the email, there will be a link that is unique to your son’s account. Please click the link in the email and follow the instructions to set up your Smart Tuition account.

Tuition: $18,250 (First payment due July 1 )

1 Payment: Pay the full amount of one year’s tuition on July 1.

Deposit: $500 (Due at Registration) Registration Fee: $550 (Due at Registration) Freshman Camp Fee: $600* *Camp Fee will be assessed in three equal payments of $200 each for in April, May & June.

2 Payments: Pay half of the tuition amount on July 1 and half on December 1. 10 Payments: Pay tuition in 10 monthly payments starting on July 1 and ending April 1.

Summer camps for incoming freshmen are a great way to start your journey as a St. Thomas Eagle Brother. Get a jump start on making new friends that will graduate with you in 2022. Get to know our faculty, administrators and coaches, and get to know your way around campus. These offerings are strongly recommended to begin your path of success and accelerate your transition for the fall. Enter your first day as an Eagle ready to excel as a man of St. Thomas.

Camp GDK provides incoming freshmen an authentic understanding that a leader’s greatness is found in service and bringing out greatness in others. Start becoming a champion for life!

Smart Study Skills Enrichment Course Learn to study smarter not harder! St. Thomas is utilizing one of the most well-researched study skills curriculum available Strategies, Motivation, Awareness, Resilience, Talents, Success. This amazing resource is designed for all ability levels, with a major emphasis on goal setting, flexible problem solving, organizing time and materials, and self-monitoring.

required summer courses

Required academic summer courses are offered as a way to better prepare you for the demands of a college-preparatory curriculum. If your acceptance letter indicates you are required to take a summer course(s) in Language Arts, Reading and/or Pre-Algebra, the course(s) must be successfully completed as a condition of your acceptance. This is to ensure a successful transition and better prepare you for our college-preparatory curriculum and environment. • Required incoming freshman courses are June 11– 29. • Classes meet Monday through Friday and each class lasts two hours per day. • Classes are at 8 a.m. -10 a.m., 10:15 a.m. -12:15 p.m. or 1 p.m.- 3 p.m. Students required to take two courses will have classes at two periods. Students required to take three courses will be committed to all three periods. Students register for the course(s) required. Class times for each course will be assigned by St. Thomas based on availability and scheduling. • Students must plan on being available for any of these class periods. Their summer schedule must be free of conflicts with these class periods until their required summer course schedule has been determined. • You will be sent a confirmation email of your class schedule by May 31.

HOW TO PROCEED 1. Tuition: $335 per course 2. Register and pay online: Registration is now open at summer.sths.org. Courses are located on the “High School – Incoming Freshmen” page. The registration deadline is April 30. 3. Refunds: Withdrawal from St. Thomas before the first week of the courses will receive a 50% refund. Withdrawal after classes begin or disciplinary withdrawals will receive no refund. 4. Attendance is strictly enforced. Any student missing more than two class days for any reason will automatically be dropped from the course and will not be able to attend St. Thomas in the fall. Three late arrivals to a class are equal to one absence. 5. Books needed for class will be provided on the first day. 6. Incoming freshman Language Arts, Reading and Pre-Algebra are non-credit courses. 7. The confirmation email will also include all details needed before arriving for the first day of class. 8. If needed students will bring their own snacks and lunches.

The 9th Grade Course Selection Sheet found in the back pocket is to be completed and returned at Freshman Registration Night. Please review the information below to assist in making your course selections. Math Placement Test FRESHMAN CURRICULUM

Science Placement Test There will be a science placement test on April 21, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Based on grades from middle school science, entrance exam scores, and the placement test, the student will be placed in either: Environmental Science, Biology, or Advanced Biology. If no placement test is taken, the student will be placed in either Environmental Science or Biology.

Language Placement Test There will be foreign language placement tests for Spanish, French and Latin on April 21, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. Based on grades from middle school foreign language classes and the placement test, the student will be placed in either: Level I or Level II of the selected language. Placement in Advanced Spanish I is based on entrance exam scores and previous academic record. If no placement test is taken, the student will be placed in Level I.

All freshmen will be assigned to a Study Hall each semester. Students in Forensics, Orchestra or Vocal Ensemble will only be assigned a Study Hall for one semester.
