Happy New Year to all of you. We hope that you had a wonderful holiday season with your loved ones and friends. 2010 will bring many new ideas, possibilities and situations to our lives. Our wish is that if they are of a challenging nature that it is to make us grow and become better people. Gee this sounds so prophetic but as I grow older I reflect on what has the become most important to me and less on the silly things that seemed so important before. I look for things in my life that make me grow into the person I want to be. Then I realize that it is going to take many more years than I have left, so there you are. As many of you know I have been working with Ginia on trying to get a new web site built and that is very time consuming. I apologize that the current web site is a bit out of date and I am trying to fix that now. The person I hired to do the blog seems to have fallen off the face of the earth so that is another thing that I will be trying to get straightened out in the next few days. So please bear with me.

Since we know what you want it will be easier to schedule upcoming events. and Twitter. Make sure you Become a Fan or a Follower on those as we will be offering specials just for the "Fans" and "Followers" periodically during the year. I have taken a good hard look at what is going on with the credit card companies and I know that it is a cost of doing business but their fees are getting out of hand. So I have decided as of the 11th of January if you pay in cash or by check you will receive a 5% discount on your purchases. That way you aren't paying interest and I'm not paying lots of fees. Of course, if you like, you will still be able to pay with your credit card. Our regular Thursday Night Stitching will also undergo a bit of a change in that we are making it a Thursday Night Stitching Club. The dues will be $5 a month and that will give you a discount of 10% on any items purchased those evenings. The Thursday of each month that pay the dues you will a receive a special Thank You gift. Now on to the fun things in the stitching world. Mirabilia has given us another new design that is wonderful, Sabrina. I have already ordered and will be reordering because the first order is already spoken for. You can see her on the web site. I have received a complete set of CDs from Ann Cram, the needlepoint designer. That way you can look through her designs here in the shop as you would a catalogue.
