When I started stitching, I had no idea that there was an ideal needle for each type of fabric you stitch. All I knew is that there was a needle...and it typically was whatever came in the kit I was stitching or was leftover from the last kit I finished (or didn’t finish. Don’t judge.) As I’ve branched out to different count and style of fabric, I have come to learn that there is an ideal needle size for each. To find the recommended needle for your project, choose the type of fabric and the fabric count to come up with the best tapestry needle for the job.
