Wednesday, April 26, 2023 recognized by her classmates as “Miss Hilltopper” her senior year. Maureen’s involvement and commitment to the Hill community was foundational to her continued growth and development.

She was awarded a full basketball scholarship to Loyola University Maryland. She excelled on and off the court, scoring 1000+ points, while earning her BS in Mathematical Science. After graduation, Maureen continued her studies and attained her MBA in Finance, while working in the Loyola Athletic Department as Business Manager as well as the Assistant Coach for the Johns Hopkins Women’s Basketball Team.

For the last twenty years Maureen has had a successful career as an IT Professional working for several IT companies, including Dell and Splunk and is currently with Red Hat as Account Director for the NYS Public Sector team. Prior to moving into the tech world, Maureen, a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), worked as a budget and fiscal analyst with the Mayor’s Office of Management and Budget and then the NYC Police Department. During this time she also worked overnight shifts at the Guild for Exceptional Children and Catholic Charities group homes.

Coaching has always been a major part of her life and she has had the privilege of coaching youth softball and basketball, including her siblings’ teams at St. Anselm and her nephew’s CYO basketball team at Our Lady of Good Counsel Maureen also spent many years coaching the Varsity Basketball teams at St. Savior High School, the USA Today National High School Girls Varsity Champions Christ the King as well as Liberty Bells AAU teams. She was instrumental in assisting thirty plus female players earn full basketball scholarships to college. Maureen has also completed two New York City marathons.
