Projects The Utilisation Of Intensive Care Services After Bariatric Surgery 2007-11. This state-wide research project investigates all bariatric surgery undertaken in Western Australia over a five year period with emphasis placed on all admissions to an ICU after bariatric surgery. This dataset is the amalgamation of the Western Australian Department of Health Data Linkage Unit and a locally created database of all ICU admissions after bariatric surgery across all of Western Australia. At present this project is in the final processes of writing and publishing a series of manuscripts.
