COMMUNITY INPUT MEETINGS
You’re invited to attend a community input meeting about proposed activities for St. Louis County’s 2024 Notice of Funding
Availability and Annual Action Plan.
Each year, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) allocated funds to St. Louis County for eligible community programs and activities. St. Louis County receives approximately $8 million per year is receives from HUD for three programs:
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) Emergency Solution Grant (ESG)
We want to hear from you!
What are the needs in your community? What types of activities should St. Louis County try to prioritize? What programs would best serve County residents?
Please keep in mind that all activities and programs must serve one of the following purposes:
Benefit low and moderate income residents
Prevent or eliminate slums and blight
Address urgent, recently developed community needs for which there is no other funding
Provide affordable housing
Assist homeless individuals
We will consider your input as we plan our 2024 activities under these three programs. The Notices of Funding Availability will be released in the Summer and Fall of 2023, and the Annual Action Plan will be submitted to HUD on or about February 28, 2024.
