In 2021, Primary Learning Enhancement educator Ailsa Crockett received the Staff Award for Excellence in Teaching and Learning. As a learning enhancement educator, Ailsa supports students with diverse learning needs, ensuring their needs are met, while also equipping classroom teachers with the tools and relevant knowledge to support their students. Her expertise lies in her ability to review student data, identify student needs, and devise appropriate learning plans. Ailsa is a wonderful support to all teachers, not only because of her extensive knowledge and understanding of all areas of child development, but for her willingness to professionally share and support her peers, as well as parents and families.
